Description
This 500 S&W Magnum load uses a 500 grain Hornady FP-XTP (flat point, exposed lead) projectile. Velocity is 1,300 fps from an 8 3/8″ barrel. This round provides unbelievable penetration from even revolver-length barrels. This hunting load is capable of taking virtually any game in the world and our new recipe recoils….hard. This recoil impulse can be characterized as a “hard kick” as opposed to “sharp” or “snappy.”
WARNING: This load has substantial recoil from short-barreled X Frame revolvers, and should be kept away from the novice shooter.
