This is our 10mm Auto self-defense load. As with all Maker Solid Copper Hollow Points (SCHP)- performance is exceptional. More powders are becoming available again, and as a result we have identified a new, favorite recipe for this defensive load: and this is it.
At 1,530 FPS, this lead-free projectile offers devastating expansion and meets the FBI standard with > 12″ of penetration in calibrated ballistic gel.
This load’s bullet weight and penetration may not be appropriate for hunting deer-sized game. Check out our 220gr hard cast load for hunting.
