Description
This 357 Magnum load is designed for hunting with your rifle. The bullet was specifically designed to handle velocities only achieved by longer barrels. This ensures that the bullet retains nearly 100% of its weight, thus maximizing penetration at impact velocities approaching 2,000 FPS.
This Solid Copper Hollow Point from Maker has been tested at velolcities from point blank to 120 yards (18″ barrels), and expands dramatically without losing any petals. It offers the petal-extending performance found across Maker’s entire REX product line. Loaded in Starline cases, with CCI primers, and a slow-burning magnum pistol powder, this is a high velocity lever gun load that is not suitable for hunting with shorter barrels. In lever guns and single shots, however, it is one of the best 357 Magnum deer hunting loads available.
