Description
This is our hard cast 45/70 load designed for penetration. At 1,485 FPS (in shorter, 18″ barrels) this load is capable of breaking bones and deep penetration on the largest game found in North America. Recoil is stout.
This load is not suitable in Trapdoor Springfields as the pressure far exceeds what those old rifles can handle. It is safe in all modern 45/70 firearms. The maximum overall length of 2.495″ allows for proper cycling in lever action rifles and use in Magnum Research’s BFR Revolver.
