Description
This 30 Carbine hollow point load effectively turns your M1 Carbine into a formidable tactical or small game hunting tool. It features Starline brass and a Solid Copper Hollow Point from Maker. This bullet has three distinct petals, which expand as the projectile progresses through the target. At self defense distances, after approximately 8″ of penetration the petals begin to peel off into the target while the base continues on its path. This performance makes for an effective man-stopper. At impact distances experienced during hunting, the petals remain attached to the base. This translates to terminal performance similar to what is found in our other traditional hunting loads- on game up to Class CPX2. This load will “up the game” of your M1 Carbine, but when selecting suitable game, please note that it still retains only 530 ft-lbs at 100 yards.
