By using our website or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms of Use. These Terms help us ensure safe, responsible and legal use of our products while maintaining the high standards you expect from Steinel. If you don’t agree with any part of these Terms, please don’t use our site or place an order.

At Steinel, we are Dedicated to Every Round™. That means every product we offer is carefully engineered, tested and inspected to ensure performance, reliability and safety. Our Terms ensure a safe and responsible experience for all customers while protecting our commitment to quality.

2. Eligibility

By using our website or purchasing from us, you confirm that:

  • You meet the legal minimum age in your state or province to purchase ammunition.
  • You are not prohibited by law from purchasing, possessing, or receiving ammunition.
  • You will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

You may not purchase ammunition if you are under 21 (where required by law), prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition, adjudicated mentally ill, convicted of certain crimes, or otherwise restricted by law. It is your responsibility to ensure your order complies with local regulations.

3. Shipping & Returns

At Steinel Ammunition Co., we are committed to safe, reliable shipping and your complete satisfaction:

Shipping Restrictions:

  • We cannot ship ammunition to PO boxes.
  • We cannot ship ammunition to Hawaii, Alaska, Washington, California or New York (without FFL/COE/dealer license), the District of Columbia, Chicago, or New York City. Contact us at sales@steinelammo.com if you have any questions.
  • Residents of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Illinois, and New Jersey must provide proper firearms identification and documentation. Connecticut residents must also submit a copy of their driver’s license.

Shipping Carriers & Tracking:

  • All live ammunition orders ship via UPS Ground. Tracking numbers, once scanned by UPS, will be updated in your order.

Shipping Rates:

  • Ammunition: $9.99
  • Reloading Components: $6.99
  • Merchandise: $4.99
  • Free shipping on orders over $150
    Shipping fees may include a delivery area surcharge depending on your zip code. All fees are displayed at checkout.

Back Orders:

  • Average delay: ~3 weeks (as of 10/5/25).
  • Orders containing both in-stock and backordered items generally ship together.

Returns & Satisfaction Guarantee:

  • Contact our technical team at 330-840-7086 or via the website Contact Us form.
  • If a product is found to be deficient, you may choose a replacement, substitute, or a full refund. We have very few such issues and our owner handles each on a case by cases basis. The vast majority are resolved within 1 business day.
  • Note: Due to shipping regulations, ammunition generally cannot be returned. Exceptions may apply.

You agree to use the website responsibly and lawfully. You may not:

  • Transmit viruses or malicious code
  • Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the site
  • Misrepresent yourself or others

5. Orders, Pricing & Availability

  • Prices and availability are subject to change without advanced notice.
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities or cancel orders for any reason, including suspected fraud or regulatory non-compliance.

6. Liability & Disclaimer

Ammunition is inherently dangerous. You certify that the weapon for which you purchased ammunition or ammunition components is in good working condition, and all appropriate safety measures have been followed. We have control over the loading procedures at our facility. If you assemble ammunition using components purchased from our site, you acknowledge that each weapon is different. Load data provide by Steinel Ammunition was carefully procured using our equipment and your results may vary.

7. User Content

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, publish, or share that content. You represent that your submissions do not violate any laws or rights of others. We often attach a first name and last initial to user reviews. Please let us know if you would prefer to remain completely anonymous.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ohio. All disputes will be resolved exclusively in courts in Summit County, Ohio, or the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the website after posting constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
