This 357 Magnum load is a designed for maximum expansion across all barrel lengths. This Solid Copper Hollow Point from Maker Bullets is designed to expand and penetrate at 357 Magnum revolver velocities. It offers the petal-extending performance found across Maker’s entire REX product line. Loaded in Starline cases, with CCI primers, and a relatively fast-burning magnum pistol powder, this is a low muzzle flash option that won’t blind you when used in snub nose revolvers. In lever guns expansion is excessive, causing petals to tear off in the target. For this reason, this load is not recommended for large, thick-skinned game as the bullet momemum will be disrupted and may inhibit penetration.
