This projectile is designed for ammunition to be used in rifle-length barrels in good condition.  These are not suitable in signifncantly worn out, carbine-length barrels beyond 20 yards, as they will likely become unstable almost immediately after leaving the muzzle.  However, a vast majority of customers enjoy these through all barrel lengths and twist styles (progressive vs standard) as long as the bore is in decent condition.
