    "Desert Eagle compatible!"

    "I got a box to check fit and function in my DEagle .44 Mag, for occasions when I might look like a tasty snack to some dangerous varmint. DEagles are a bit tetchy about soft exposed lead, but these bullets are very hard cast, and feed and cycle perfectly in my blaster, like they're jacketed. My new load for this and the Marlin 1894. Going to order a bunch more."

    "Rifle ready"

    "I have been searching for a hard cast load that would work well with both pistol and lever action rifle. The 255 grain RNFP bullet in this cartridge concludes that search. The bullet is not so heavy that it requires a new (taller) front sight on a S&W model 29 and the bullet shape allows for reliable feeding into a Browning model 92. I have tried several other hard cast loads in the 250-260 grain range and none of them feed correctly in the model 92 since their meplat is too large. Thank you Steinel Ammunition for producing this load."

    Description

    This 44 Magnum load is our high velocity, hard cast option and is suitable in all 44 Magnum revolvers and lever guns.  This round is accurate, hard hitting, and has a similar point of impact as the more common 240 grain loads you may be used to shooting.  It also features a gas check to reduce the lead fouling associated with high pressure cast loads.
