Description
This 500 S&W Magnum load uses a 300 grain Hornady FTX (Flex Tip) projectile, driven 1,950 fps from an 8 3/8″ barrel and 2,350 from the Big Horn Armory Model 89 Lever Gun (18″). Like most full-power 500 S&W loads, this round provides devastating performance on virtually any North American game, even from revolver-length barrels.
WARNING: This load, and all properly-loaded 500 S&W ammo, has substantial recoil and should be kept away from the novice shooter.
